The tournament director reserves the right to change the schedule in unforeseen circumstances [eg team withdrawal].

This is the first tournament of the inaugural BUF Co-ed Tour. There is space for 16 teams. Each team will need at least 5 women and 5 men. The tournament will be played to WFDF co-ed rules (ie. 3-4 gender split on the pitch). Teams for the Co-ed Tour will be rostered, but individuals may change teams during the season. Rosters may be handed in at the captains meeting. Any individuals (especially women) wishing to play but without a team should contact the organisers (Olivier Cottray ojco@bas.ac.uk or Alexa Troedson altr@bas.ac.uk ) as soon as possible.

A fourteen-team format was used which gave middle-ranked teams several opportunities for promotion. The schedule could easily be converted to a 13-team schedule by removing team 14 and having consecutive pairs of teams that would have played 14 play each other instead.

WFDF Rules of Ultimate
The Tournament venue, Coldhams Common, Whitehill Rd, is located in Northeast Cambridge. Traffic in central Cambridge is terrible, so don't come through the centre.
If you arrive on Friday evening, we're thinking of having people meet at the Hogshead on Parker's Piece in central Cambridge. (Nice place for a chuck-around)

DIRECTIONS FOR COLDHAM'S COMMON

| Map (gif, fits on your screen) | Map (gif, high resolution) |

BY CAR

FROM NORTH AND WEST:

Come on the A14. Stick in the left hand lane, i.e. REMAIN on the A14 towards Newmarket and Felixstowe;
then, see directions from south (exit on B1047)

FROM SOUTH (M11):

Get off M11 at Juction 14 and keep to the left to end up on the A14 East (towards Newmarket)
About 5 minutes later take the exit onto B1047 over the bridge towards Cambridge and Fen Ditton (called Horningsea Lane then becomes Ditton Lane).
Take a RIGHT at the T-junction traffic lights at the end of this road onto Newmarket Rd.
After the first roundabout take your THIRD LEFT onto Whitehill Rd.
Lookout for a sign to Abbey Pool and Coldhams Common pointing RIGHT.
Turn right into there, park , and look for the signs to the sports ground.

BY TRAIN

From Cambridge railway station, it's approx. 20mins walk I think...
Take the footbridge across the railway line
Take left onto Charles St.
Make a right dog's-leg onto Cockburn St.
Cross Mill Road onto Sedgwick St.
Keep to left of road, Sedgwick St. becomes Cromwell Rd.
Follow bike path through Coldham's Common towards Abbey Swimming Pool
Follow signs to Sport's Grounds
Alternatively, take a taxi and ask for Abbey Swimming Pool/Sports Grounds on Coldhams Common -probably about #5 a ride

BY PLANE (to Cambridge airport)

Out of the airport, turn left on Newmarket Rd. then see directions by car.

Accommodation

Unfortunately there is no camping available within Cambridge. Strange Blue players will accommodate as many people as possible. There are plenty of B&Bs and guesthouses in Cambridge but book early. Reasonably comprehensive accommodation guides are available at:

Food will be available at the fields, courtesy of the British Women's Ultimate Team who are fundraising for Worlds.
