VIDasher is a free communication system for low-vision or blind people who cannot use a regular keyboard. For example, blind people who have impaired mobility.

VIDasher plays a word-game known as `Convergence'. It guesses what word you are thinking of, and you respond `earlier' or `later' if your word is alphabetically before or after the guess, respectively. Your responses are conveyed through two switches. (A one-switch version could also be made.)

VIDasher can be personalized to make it efficient for writing in your own preferred vocabulary.

The main version of VIDasher is a four-action version intended to be used with short and long presses of two switches.

VIDasher is free software distributed under the GPL
