Monte Carlo Temperature Discovery Search for Combinatorial Games [pdf]

For my Certificate of Postgraduate Studies, the first year of a physics-PhD in Cambridge, I developed an approximate search method for the Temperature of Combinatorial Games, combining methods from Machine Learning (the UCT search method) with results from Combinatorial Game Theory.

Unfortunately, the results were not quite impressive enough to justify a research paper. However, I wrote this technical report for my CPGS viva which includes all results.
