Saturday 9 May 1998
Sunny, and a strengthening cross-field wind. Hard fields.
beat Whiplash; lost to Red Shift, Night Fever and Village People.
Sunday 10 May
Cold and windy.
in the bottom eight knockout:
beat mad kows; used zone D and spread offence.
beat Bliss.
beat Twin Peaks, thus winning the bottom division, coming 21st.
This is evidence that on Saturday we were in a tough pool, and 
should perhaps have come higher.
Our team: Ken A, David G, David S, David M, Ian, Dora, Daniella,
Graham, Paul, Steve, Tim, Sander.
Other news:
First Touch almost beat druids, Chevron did beat them, and first
touch were close against chevron too. Shotgun had a very close game against Catch on Saturday but came back to win.
the final was well attended. UTI beat Shotgun by a convincing margin. Superfly won the plate.
