Automated Go

The game of Go was developed over 4000 years ago in ancient China. It is a game of two players: white and black.

The players take it in turns to place white and black stones on the intersections of a grid which makes up the board. All the stones of each player are identical. Once placed on the board the stones are not moved but they may be captured. Stones are captured by surrounding them with opponent stones. The aim of the game for each player is to gather territory by surrounding it with their stones.
